I really need your help staffing the Hospitalist program in Plainview, TX and you can pretty much name your rate. All offers to be considered.
I am hiring moonlighting Hospitalists to work at Covenant Health - Plainview. I know you’re likely busy with your permanent work, but we would still love to have your help. Even 2 shifts per month would help. Practice details are below.
Covenant Health – Plainview
Acceptable Specialty: BCIM, or BEIM and must be certified and scheduled for boards
Current situation: 1 MD/day, 0 MD/night. 1 NP Nocturnist
Schedule: Days only - 7a-7p, night call each night.
Certifications requirements: BLS/ACLS
Procedures: Yes – all, including vent mgmt. The site has only one surgeon and CRNA on call. If they are in surgery, Hospitalist needs to be available
Rapid Response: ED MD will respond, yet will turn over to Hospitalist once he/she arrives in order to return to the ED.
Sub Specialty backup: Only subspecialists are non-interventional Cardiology, Gen Surgery and Orthopedics
Duties: Traditional hospitalist work
Charting: Meditech
ICU setting: Open
Patient census: 16-18 per provider
Admits: Varies from 3-9 days, and 1-3 at night. We admit all patients, including surgery and orthopedics
Credentialing time frame: Temps available. 60-90 for full privs
Travel: Paid travel and lodging for all qualified candidates. Non local providers would fly into Lubbock
