AC/Refrigeration Technician Local company seeking an AC/Refrigeration Technician.

Salary: $13.00 to $21.00/hour

This position will require employee to travel the F&H Contractors system to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics & repairs, new installations and replacements of company-owned HVAC systems at company businesses. Additionally, the incumbent will perform outside commercial and residential work, and will thereby be responsible for invoicing, customer service, equipment materials procurement, F&H Contractors’ HVAC business services marketing and pricing. Some commercial and residential electrical work that is not HVAC-related will also be assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; tech school degree in HVAC desired, but not required. One year of experience or the equivalent tech school education required. Electrical and electronic diagnostic skills required. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Candidate must be able to demonstrate business development acumen, and excellent customer service skills. Incumbent must be able to provide basic tools; specialty tools will be provided, as appropriate. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Commercial Driver's License class A preferred. Drug free also required. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, including compressors, furnaces, ductwork and related materials. EPA 608 Certification required; HVAC Industry or NATE certification desired. Ability to accurately read electrical and general construction schematics required.
