Systems Engineer

First Community Credit Union is seeking a talented and motivated individual with a minimum of 7 years of IT business experience. This position will work in an environment supporting VMWare virtualized servers using Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. Supporting a 500+ end user population is performed by the Tier 3 team, which will include this position. The Systems Engineer will be capable of installing, configuring and maintaining various systems in a multi-site environment. Strong communication skills and project management skills will be required for coordinating project implementations with multiple departments and branches.

A strong knowledge of problem resolution and the ability to work independently will be required to succeed in a demanding environment. This position requires the daily monitoring of systems to ensure their integrity and availability for our staff and members. This position will also involve mentoring and high level technical assistance of junior IT personnel. The ability and willingness to learn industry applications is required along with knowledge of common server based systems such as Microsoft Exchange and mainstream backup and recovery solutions. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at our corporate office in Chesterfield.
