Position Title:             Accounting Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide financial insights to the organization through trend analysis, development of reporting to assess performance across the P&L and a focus on profitability through partnering with Operations to improve efficiencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Analyze business trends and provide timely insights to support the business in delivering against KPIs
• Develop reporting capabilities and implement new reporting accordingly
• Assist with maintaining and updating the company’s financial forecasts and models
• Develop models to generate insights and analyze profit impact of new operational initiatives
• Ensure and strengthen the integrity of data and reporting systems
• Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems and methods
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide new and different insights into key drivers of business results

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Strong planning, organization and critical thinking skills
• Desire for learning and process improvement
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with all levels of management, and ability to build rapport with Operations
• Intellectual curiosity and an analytical mind-set
