The Requirements

To meet the basic qualifications for the Manager, Strategic Account Operations opportunity, you must have:
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
To be a good fit for the role, you will also have: 
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Marketing or a closely related field
  • American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification is highly preferred
  • A combination of 10  years of corporate security-related project/key account management and contract security-related project/key account management experience in a multi-location environment with demonstrated ability to deliver efficiencies Quick question for you - click here
  • Deep experience with technology, ideally including data center operations; ability to maintain and evolve your technology knowledge base Quick question for you - click here
  • Strong guard management experience required; prior law enforcement and/or military police experience highly preferred
  • Prior experience managing  customer relations and contract compliance with a large national or regional customer base
  • Proven ability to organize, manage and maintain compliance and processes for licensing and training functions
  • Experience effectively building, coaching and leading a team in a customer service focused environment
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the technical acumen to learn new software and technology as needed

Your Role

Opportunity Snapshot
Joining the Corporate Strategic Accounts Department and reporting to the Vice President, West, as Manager, Strategic Account Operations, you will be responsible for the development, operations, and profitability of all physical security services within an important Security Solutions’ account. Based in Silicon Valley, this is a high demand account where vendors are expected to match the fast pace and dynamic environment of the client's business by taking a proactive approach, flexing to meet evolving demands, and setting the bar for responsiveness.

Role Details
You will be seated at the customer's site in Menlo Park, and be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administration and specialized reporting functions required to ensure quality customer relations. You will oversee the creation, generation and analysis of reports to be provided per client contract and company policies. Effective and regular communication with client representatives and field offices will be essential to the facilitation of these activities. You will also interact with the global procurement team and other stakeholders

Specifically, you will:
  • Provide supervision to Project Managers by:
    • Overseeing customer relations
    • Ensuring Physical Security Surveys and post orders are updated regularly
    • Reviewing disciplinary actions for consistency and propriety
  • Implement standard security operations at each customer facility and ensure compliance through quarterly visits
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met; quality assurance and contract compliance
  • Project management; implement standard security operations at each client facility, and ensure compliance through quarterly visits
  • Work closely with the client and other vendors to ensure consistent and coordinated service delivery at all responsible locations
  • Hold responsibility for the oversight of Key Performance Indicators designed to meet contractual expectations to include; tracking cost savings initiatives U.S. wide
  • Interpret contract provisions to define performance requirements
  • Train mid-level management personnel on contract compliance duties, responsibilities and methods on procedures necessary to comply with the state and federal employment and security licensing legislation
Additionally, you will make decisions and/or recommendations regarding:
  • Changes to physical security surveys and post orders
  • The selection of supervisory candidates
  • The identification and selection of personnel identified for promotion or increased responsibility
  • Disciplinary action / commendation decisions pertaining to management/supervisory personnel under your indirect supervision
