Senior Developer - IBM Sterling OMS

Senior Developer in IBM Sterling Commerce:

Sr Developer – IBM Sterling OMS is a leader who will be responsible developing, unit testing and supporting software projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle. 

Sr Developer- IBM Sterling OMS is responsible for but not limited to: 

• Lead project to extend the capabilities of the OMS and related system components to meet evolving business needs.
  • Interface wrappers, User Exits for external calls made into Sterling Commerce platform
  • User Interface extensions using the Web Store Application
  • Database extensions on an DB2 Database
  • System solutions that support the order management lifecycle (Order to Cash)
• Work directly with the Architects to ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the Standards.
• Work closely with the team, product owner and QA to design and develop software applications. 
• Develop and perform unit testing of your software 
  Prototype solutions as needed 
• Document work for easy hand-off to other teams 
• Build scalable and fault tolerant solutions Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams 
• Mentor junior software engineers. 

• Develop solutions to real world problems and provide effort and cost estimates. 
  
  Required Qualifications:
• Experience and designing Sterling Commerce with Webservices
• 5 years of experience developing OMS solutions using IBM Sterling Commerce
• 5 years of experience developing in Java/J2EE Java/JEE, Eclipse platform, XML, XSD and other related technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with End To End OMS implementation
- Practical skills with Web Services and ATG Web commerce
- Experience as a Technical Lead large IT projects
- Experience with fast paced and overlapping product release cycles
- Experience working in cross-functional, muti-location teams
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to be flexible in a changing environment 

Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained.
