Job Summary

We are looking for a Director of Nursing Services (DNS) that is called to serve others, inspires a team to attain and maintain high quality standards, manages and achieves operational targets and has the ability to build relationships with team members and the community. As a DNS, your passion for care, coupled with excellent RN clinical skills will be helpful in the oversight of personalized resident care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Prior work experience may not be required to be hired into this job. Supervisory experience is preferred. Registered nurse licensure for state of practice is required; 
Ability to communicate and comprehend. 
Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.

Basic qualifications: 

Current RN licensure in Washington
Supervisory experience is required.  ADON or DNS experience is preferred.
Knowledge of rules, regulations and reimbursement in a skilled nursing/rehab setting.              

 Current CPR certification or ability to become certified in CPR.                                  
Compassion and commitment to person-centered care and employee engagement.
Skilled in team building and coaching staff to their full potential.
