Job Description

GLT is seeking an Interior Designer professional to become a part of our team! You will plan, design and furnish the interiors commercial or industrial buildings.

Responsibilities:

Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for construction
Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space
Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
Prepare sketches and documentation for client presentation

Qualifications:

BA in Interior Design/Architecture required
2-5 years of experience in commercial and residential Interior Design furnishings, finishes, fixtures and equipment
Furniture experience is a must (working with Herman Miller furniture line is a plus)
Strong experience with designing custom furniture and coordinating manufacturing of product
Experience with AutoCAD is a must. Experience with Sketch-Up, Revit, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite is desirable.
Significant exposure to various standards and practices applied in the design field
Experience in working on projects in various stages, from inception to completion
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
