Finance associate

The Greater Yellowstone Coalition (GYC), a non-profit conservation organization, seeks an experienced and skilled Finance Associate. Reporting to the Finance Coordinator, the Finance Associate is responsible for processing payroll and accounts payable. The Finance Associate will assist with the bank reconciliation and periodic reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Reviews financial statements prior to distribution to management and assists with quarterly financial information for the board of directors. Assists the Finance Coordinator with other tasks as needed to maintain GYC’s accounting systems, records and reports. In addition, s/he provides support to the Human Resource Coordinator, which may include aspects of personnel records and benefits administration in relation to payroll.  S/he relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
