Painter Assistant 2nd shift position

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs visual inspection of all material prior to painting. Ensures quality of paints and thinners. Thins and strains paints to required consistencies and viscosities to produce specified finishes. Spray paints a wide variety of parts with lacquers, enamel, and undercoats. Performs various related assignments, such as masking, wrapping and other prep tasks. Cleans and maintains all paint room apparatus.

About You:

You will have a high school diploma or GED preferred and a minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience.

You must meet departmental performance standards, including quality and quantity of output. Conduct yourself in a considerate, professional, cooperative and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors and visitors.
