The Requirements

You will cover a territory that includes northern Texas and southern Oklahoma, working out of your home office within that territory. You'll spend a good deal of time out in the field, including occasional overnight travel. We'll provide a company vehicles and reimburse you weekly for gas and other relevant expenses.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will take on a "road warrior" role, spending up to 75% of your time out in the field growing accounts and driving new business. You will be responsible for developing and growing business using a two-stage distribution model and building trust-based relationships with distributors, contractors, and architects.

You'll partner with an Architectural Sales Representative in the territory, and your primary mission will be to promote our BES systems through installers, contractors, distribution, architectural and the building science consultant community in the form of jobsite, contractor and distribution calls, technical seminars, and provide technical support in the selection and specification of our air barrier, waterproofing and roofing systems. At a high level, you'll spend about 60% of your time working with end-users, 20% with distribution partners, another 10% with the architectural community, 5% on inspections/reviewing applications, and the remaining 5% on clerical work.

Specifically, your responsibilities will be to:
  • Grow institutional and commercial sales and achieve year over year growth thereafter
  • Persuade end users, contractors, and distributors on the value propositions of Henry's Building Envelope Solutions
  • Leverage existing and new relationships to grow BES category
  • Drive a higher level of specified sales through distribution, contractors and installers
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to market segmentation and time management
  • Interface closely with key customers to strengthen and grow existing relationships, while also driving significant prospecting initiatives to generate new customer relationships
