Applications Engineering Manager - Power Electronics

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineering Manager to join an exciting fast paced semiconductor company based in a beautiful location of Austria.

The Applications Engineering Manager will be responsible for the day to day life-cycle of managing a team of Applications Engineers and act as a technical authority for the design of IGBT's and MOSFET's. Other aspects of the role will include the definition in collaboration with Product Marketing Engineers in the technical requirements for new technology development, support technical inquires for customers, produce evaluation tools, support new product releases by creating marketing collateral, datasheets and schematics and understand technical trends and evolution with regards to IGBT and MOSFET technology.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive package and great career progression. They will have a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with a proven background in the following:

* IGBT's, MOSFET's and WBG Switches.

* Gate Driver and Power Switch interaction investigations.

* Team management.
