ASIC Project Manager

My client is looking for an Digital IC Project Manager to join their growing team in the heart of Glasgow. The team is part of a central engineering organisation, providing semiconductor IP to other product-based groups, for applications within the automotive and communications market sectors.

As an IC Project Manager, within the team, you will be responsible for:

. Planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of Digital IC Hardware projects such as HW co-processors

. Interface with software teams on firmware and application software requirements

. Definition and execution of test chips to verify new components in silicon

. Identifying and driving innovation to next generation products

Your Profile:

. Degree-qualified

. Previous experience as a project manager for ASIC designs, ASIC team leader or similar

. Experience with synthesis tools, design flow, Verilog, Microcontrollers, ARM cores, for digital IC design, are all an advantage

. Very good communication skills and leadership behaviour

. Fluent in English
