Senior Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer - Imaging - Southampton
This is an opportunity to join a global company working on leading edge and stimulating technology. Our client is looking to make a key hire and currently seeks an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join their established project team designing Analog and Mixed-signal circuits for imaging products.
The role will focus on Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design and development and will include working on complex IC designs at transistor, cell or block level and requires you to have the ability to translate design requirements into verified design solutions quickly and accurately to achieve the specification and project schedule.
Other responsibilities include:
-Manage team effectively as technical leader, when required
-Completing Mixed Signal IC Design as well as development tasks
-Complete design verification tasks
-Generate and capture verification evidence
-Work to design processes and procedures
-Complete design validation in a laboratory environment
-Accurately prepare technical documentation
The successful candidate will be industry degree qualified (or equivalent), with experience in CMOS Analog and Mixed Signal IC design, analysis, simulation and verification. Will have an innovative approach to design with excellent problem solving skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. Excellent knowledge of industry standard design tools (Cadence preferred) is required and previous experience designing CMOS Readout ICs or imaging devices would an advantage. Customer facing experience is also advantageous.
