We're working with a company in Berkshire which is establishing a new 'start up' style design centre. This is an opportunity to be one of the initial 4-5 primary engineers who will develop a market leading product with genuinely leading edge technology. These initial employees will then act as the core senior team to continue development and grow the design centre.

The new application will transfer some of the company's existing technology into a multi-billion unit market, with some challenging engineering required. The new activity will be backed by significant investment, therefore this is a 'start up' style scenario without the attendant risks and concerns about cash flow.

This position requires a Senior Engineer with strong knowledge of Testing Hardware, Testing Software and Designing Application PCBs with its accociated embedded software and firmware. You will have a broad knowledge of both hardware and software and be able to identify and test on a large automated scale using Python.

The ideal industries to come from would be semiconductor, capacitative touch and NFC.

Characterisation and Validation of IC circuits
