The Role

The Territory
Reporting to the North American Key Accounts Manager with a dotted line to the Director, you'll be responsible for generating interest and sales in the Northeastern US, from the Mid-Atlantic region up through the metroplex corridor and throughout New England. The territory stretches from Maine to Northern Virginia.

The Mission
Working out of your home office, as the Northeastern Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying hospitals, clinics and other facilities within your territory that would benefit from the IQM device. You will be tasked with uncovering decision makers, building relationships and gaining face-to-face meetings to explain/demonstrate the technology. Our next generation quality assurance system is so different than what is currently being used, first meetings are extended (typically 2 hours) and focus on teaching the audience about the new methodologies and underlying technology.

Daily, you'll work to build a pipeline of prospects, develop proposals, monitor customers' capital budgets and fiscal cycles, schedule additional meetings, follow up, etc. While developing/leveraging strong sales skills will be paramount, sales finesse will not be enough to close this business. You'll need a deep understanding of the equipment and the ability to effectively transfer that understanding to your customer. Ultimately, your mission will be to close sales, placing IQM Systems throughout the region.

Game Changing Product
As already noted, you will represent a game-changing product, the innovative IQM System comprised of cutting-edge hardware and Windows-based software components (pictured above and throughout this advertisement). IQM is the world’s first intra-fractional treatment verification system, introducing state-of-the-art technology which requires no user interaction.  Safety, efficiency and ease of use define the IQM and separate it from any competitor’s offerings on the market today. Further information is available by following this link: http://www.iqm-system.com. The link will navigate you away from this page. Be sure to come back to submit your application/resume.

Note: this description is intended to give you a general overview of the position and is not an exhaustive listing of duties and responsibilities.

More Good Reasons

Outstanding Extended Training
Whether you already have strong sales skills or are leveraging your technical talents to move to sales, you will spend an extended amount of time training. You will do the legwork to get appointments, but once you've landed the opportunities, a subject-matter-expert (your supervisor or the Director) will accompany you to the appointment. At first, you'll watch and learn as they present. Later, you'll present and they'll help you fine tune as needed. We expect that it will be 6 months or more before you are on your own.

Autonomy and Support
Once you are fully trained, you will enjoy the autonomy to own your role and make an impact. You will have the opportunity to develop a strategic sales plan and work that plan to build your book. At the same time, support is always available if you need it.

Success Will Generate Success
The product is new but it is already generating a great deal of interest and discussion. As clinicians begin using the technology, others will take notice and become more familiar with it. Word of mouth is bound to generate more interest. Additionally, there are multipliers as medical groups buy more than one system. Naturally, it will take time to sow the seeds and generate interest, but we expect that you'll see strong success in time.

You will also need to be as passionate about the advantages of the IQM system as we are, and skilled at conveying that passion to your prospects and customers.

Additionally, to be an outstanding Regional Account Manager, you will be:
  • Capable of managing a sales cycle that could be as long as 12 to 18 months.
  • A hunter, driven to work daily toward generating leads and meeting your goals and objectives. Quick question for you - click here
  • Organized and thorough in the areas of lead generation and pipeline management.
