Full Job Description

Our client, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality products within the housing development trade. They are based near Wellington are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support their accounting function.

Key Duties:
Supporting the small dedicated team supplying high end products to their clientele. Working closely with one of the senior Directors, focusing on the Purchase Ledger aspect but also being involved in buying and supplier prices to resolve any queries.


Purchase Ledger

· Processing, matching and coding purchase invoices onto their system
· Ensuring that supplier accounts are maintained to reflect accurate and up to date information
· Setting up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
· Data entry into Sage and Easyquote
· Checking and preparing payment information for BACS
· Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve queries on supplier accounts
· Maintain good relationships with suppliers
· Filing invoices
· General finance administration duties



The Person:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of undertaking finance administration including purchase ledger

· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· A flexible approach to work
· Experience of working in a customer focused environment
· Used to working to deadlines
· Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word
· Knowledge of Sage and Easyquote would be an advantage
