Justice AV Solutions (JAVS)

This role is responsible for front- and back-end web development. This role will incorporate UI/UX front-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance. This role will also design, create, and maintain back end interfaces and web services for platform focused targets. This key role must have knowledge in all stages of software development and will work alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of infrastructure for the platforms being created.

The role is based out of the JAVS headquarters in Louisville, KY and reports to the Software Engineering Manager.

As a Full Stack Web Developer with JAVS, you will:

·Design, implement, enhance, and maintain company’s web applications and web services.

·Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.

·Ability to design interfaces as well as implement provided designs and take feedback and changes on both approaches well – a flexibility in attitude and design ownership is highly valued for this role

·Design and create websites and applications from proof of concept to fully deployable instances Complete assigned tasks in an accurate, robust, and well documented (code, user info, test info) manner.

·Exercise proficiency in delivering well tested deliverables, on multiple platforms where applicable, using a defined schedule.

·Follow all defined guidelines for development/maintenance of deliveries, including source code control, coding practices and documentation (where applicable).

·Responsible for remaining technically current in new technologies, professional skills, software development and maintenance.

·Ensure that proper follow-through measures are practiced with all tasks, revisiting tasks later as needed to ensure that no more action is required and that the task specifications have been met.

·Employ practices that involve continuous process improvement.

·Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with users.

·Frequently check e-mail and voicemail, responding in a timely manner.

·Perform any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

·At least 3-5 years of experience designing and developing web-based applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with jQuery, HTML 5, CSS 3, and responsive web design is preferred.

·3+ years of experience designing and developing database-driven applications using MS with familiarity of SQL Server, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, Javascript, IIS, and other web-focused technologies” SQL Server, ADO.NET, and WCF, developing in either VB.NET or C#.

·Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud platform development as well as client-server application and service development and deployment. Cloud API experience a plus. Azure experience a plus.
