Bookkeeper

This full charge Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity if you are a self-driven and organized accounting individual who thrives working independently with minimal supervision.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform month-end closings
- Process payroll through QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, etc., as needed
- Group payroll records and create and deposit payments and file monthly/quarterly returns
- Group sales records and create and deposit payments and file monthly/quarterly returns
- Generate financial statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Manage Worker’s Compensation audits
- Assemble and prepare 1099’s
- Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping with 5+ years of related experience
- Proficient in Excel/Word/Outlook
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop/Online, all versions
- Strong work ethic and discipline
- Excellent verbal and organizational skills
Must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Be able to help us meet deadlines.
Positive Professional Attitude
Job requires some travel to clients in a 35-mile radius of Princeton/Newtown area, as needed.
