Hospitalist Opportunity Available!
Located in Kentucky and about 2 hours South of Louisville and only 1 hour North of Nashville, Tennessee.
• Rate: Negotiable Pay (based on availability) + travel, lodging and malpractice insurance
• 3 month need to cover Maternity leave, must have KY license
• The provider going out on maternity leave could go out any day, or it could be a month or so away.
• 90 bed Hospital
• 7-17 admits per day
• Specialty backup- all medical sub-specialties, except cardio thoracic and infectious disease
• 20 encounters per shift plus admits, will run codes
• Call required: yes 2-3 pages per hour til midnight, after midnight 2-3 total
• Procedures: Intubations, central lines: not required by very helpful; current doctors do these procedures
• Open ICU and rounding
