MDA is seeking full time Anesthesiology Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens (LT) assignment in Brooklyn NY.

Most cases general surgery, podiatry, minor vascular, cataracts, Endo, plastics, ortho, occasional neuro and spine. No OB, pediatrics, or hearts.
Depending on the daily OR schedule MDs may do cases independently or supervise CRNAs The supervision is usually 1:2 and on rare occasions 1:3
OT availability will depend on how many MDs we will have at that time.
5 – 6 anesthesia sites. Call 5 times a month, post call day always off and not paid.
Practice model 6 anesthesiologists and 3 CRNAs.
We use standard paper charts for documentation/billing
