Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehab Specialist in Pennsylvania. Must be Board Certified with an active Pennsylvania license.

Dates of Coverage: May 14, 2018 – May 18, 2018 (8a to 4p), June 11, 2018 – June 15, 2018 (8a to 4p), July 2, 2018 – July 3, 2018 (8a to 4p), July 5, 2018 – July 6, 2018 (8a to 4p), August 6, 2018 – August 10, 2018 (8a to 4p), September 24, 2018 – September 28, 2018 (8a to 4p), October 1, 2018 – October 5, 2018 (8a to 4p), October 22, 2018 – October 26, 2018 (8a to 4p), November 19, 2018 – November 21, 2018 (8a to 4p), November 23, 2018 (8a to 4p), December 24, 2018 (8a to 4p), December 26, 2018 – December 28, 2018 (8a to 4p). M-F, 8a-4p

Qualifications- Education Required: Pain Medicine & Rehab Specialist BC & Fellowship required. The facility can accept PM&R, Anesthesia and Neurology Residency trained candidates, as long as they have completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship. Four years of medical school resulting in an MD or DO degree, one year internship in either internal medicine or medicine surgery, three years of specialty training in an accredited PM&R Residency Program, successful completion of Fellowship Training in Pain Medicine. Board certified through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Active Pennsylvania State Medical License, Active Pennsylvania DEA.

Practice information/Job Summary- To work in collaboration with the Medical and Administrative Directors of the Neuroscience Service Line, and all participating caregivers to provide for and ensure a comprehensive approach in the evaluation and management of patients presenting with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and acute and chronic pain disorders, in conjunction with the philosophies of the facility while maintaining the dignity of all humans. Will support Neuroscience Program initiatives that strive to improve patient outcomes, efficiency and competitiveness across the system to shape future strategy and growth for the service line. The facility focuses on the diagnosis and management of chronic pain. They use a multidisciplinary approach to help patients take an active role in managing pain and regarding control of their life. They tailor their pain management to the patient’s specific needs and circumstances. Compensation is by-weekly and direct deposit. Lodging and Travel provided and arranged.
