The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members Cooperative Credit Union in living out its mission to be the primary positive financial influence in the lives of our members/owners. To achieve this goal, the employee must provide outstanding service to both internal and external members.

The Data Specialist is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of data using complex analysis of datasets in areas of research, development, product enhancement or other targeted business objectives.

This position will use advanced methods to analyze and interpret data from various sources with an outcome to solve critical business needs for internal or external clients. This position will ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, gathering and entering missing data, and resolving any anomalies and use established statistical methods to determine data sources, sample sizes and appropriate methods to create and interpret reports.

Qualifications Include: Bachelor's in Computer Science degree or Management Information Systems, 1-2 years' experience in databases, and understanding of programing languages including .NET, C#, PHP. Ability to effectively communicate and perform problem resolution steps is required for this position.
