Licensed Social Worker

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work with a Pennsylvania License to practice Social Work. Supports and serves students and families to ensure success in the school setting. Collaborates with agencies to ensure continuity of services in the home and school setting. Performs duties that foster academic and social/emotional growth for students placed in and out of the school district.

Lewistown is located approximately 30 minutes east of State College and 45 minutes west of Harrisburg. MCSD has regionally competitive teacher salaries and benefit packages.

Acts 34, 151, and Federal Act 114 clearances, school health record with TB test, and Act 168 background checks required.
