First year physicians earn $175K base salary plus mid-level supervisory fees and incentives. Years two and three allow practitioners to select among three performance-driven compensation models. Based on average patient volumes, many Family Medicine Physicians are earning more than $190K-$215K annually while working Monday – Friday in an office based setting.
Other benefits include:
• $3K/3 days CME allowance first year / $5K/5 days years two and three
• 29 paid days off annually
• no rounding at hospitals; beeper call 1:20 weeks
• health, dental, life, retirement and malpractice
