Our client has recently been taking stock of where they are, reflecting on their future plans and considering the most appropriate roles to support with their ongoing transformation in support of successfully achieving their strategic priorities.

Our client currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Operations and Development to manage the development strategy under the direction of the Operations and Development Director. As a member of the management team, you will provide leadership and manage and develop our client’s operational services.

You will have a key role working alongside senior managers and supporting the directors in the successful delivery of the organisation's strategic priorities with a ‘can do’, solution-focused approach. You will lead on key strategic/O&D objectives and delegate tasks within these, provide and present reports to the executive leadership team and take senior responsibility and senior lead on key issues within the relevant area. Continuing to develop the regional operations and development team through partnership working across both England and the wider organisation will be key.

The successful candidate will have a Level 5 or equivalent in social care or a management qualification and have previous experience of working at a senior management level. You will have good knowledge of current theory and practice in learning disabilities and knowledge of legal frameworks and care standards. Additionally, you will have the ability to analyse information and make decisions in complex situations, work to tight deadlines and have the confidence to represent the organisation in a range of forums. You must have a current UK driving licence.
