An experienced Health, Safety, Environmental Advisor is required to join an employer of choice in North Kent (close to the Dartford Crossing) as a Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) Support Advisor on a fixed term contract of up to a year.

Reporting into the SSHE Coordinator incoming candidate will be required to assist in the smooth running of the department and their ultimate goal to ensure the manufacturing/production environment runs safely.

Key duties will include:

* To provide support as part of the SSHE team to all company activities ensuring the safety and health of employees and protection of the environment, including compliance with legislation, company policy and best practice;
* To support company compliance with ISO14001:2015 by monitoring key activities falling under the remit of the Environmental Management System;
* To participate in incident investigations and to contribute to root cause analysis. To collate, organise and present data;
* To assist the SSHE Team and Operations Director in identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures with regards to health, safety and environmental performance.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within H&E/HSE within a manufacturing/production environment previously. Candidates will need to be Degree educated in order to be considered.

Applicants will need to be able to start work with immediate effect, and be able to commit to a FTC for a year.
