Are you a self-motivated, pro-active sales professional with exceptional customer service?

New York Eye, a leader in quality eyewear (Ernest Hemingway, Marie Claire, Esquire) that is styled and priced to meet the needs of today’s consumers, is seeking an experienced outside sales representative to service optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians in Indiana and southern Illinois.

Responsibilities:

● Deliver growth by regularly visiting existing customers

● Present new and current product to ensure brand visibility

● Effectively manage board space and support sell-through of product

● Prospect and develop new accounts within existing territory

● Provide exceptional customer service and “partner” with your customers

● Ability to actively close sales

● Ability to utilize reports and samples to effectively manage the customer relationship

Ideal candidates will have the following:

● Strong Outside Sales (minimum 2 years) fashion, retail (a plus)

● Proven territory management and call cycle skills

● You must be willing and able to travel your entire territory of Indiana and southern Illinois with significant overnights in hotels on a regular basis

● You must own a reliable personal car

● Ability to lift sample bags up to 45 pounds
