Do you want to help older adults prevent, delay or alleviate disease and disability on your spare time while getting paid as a PRN Nurse Practitioner? Join us on Saturdays, and potentially others days to reach out into the community to help adults discover the power of prevention.

As a Nurse Practitioner at Life Line Community Healthcare, step into a role as the primary provider of service while also acting as an advocate/educator to patients. See 8 -/+ patients a day to administer select Medicare prevention and wellness services. Throughout the day have opportunities to act as an advocate and engage with people at the event to help them understand the benefits of health prevention and promotion and such Medicare services available to them. Receive support from a Medical Assistant and always have access to a Collaborating Physician.

Stepping Into the Community
Our approach to offering people convenient access to preventive healthcare is done in a community event based setting. This means you will be a part of a mobile healthcare team made up of other professionals near you and drive to a new location each day. Health events are held typically 20 minutes to four hours drive, Monday -- Saturday, during day shift hours. Events are not held in homes or on holidays.

Nurse Practitioner Scope of Practice:

  • The Welcome to Medicare Visit (IPPE)
  • The Annual Wellness Visit (initial and subsequent)
  • Health education
  • Vaccinations, as needed
  • Advanced planning, as needed
  • Care coordination, as needed
  • Recommended follow-up to physicians for medically appropriate needs,
