PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT or NP w EM/Urg Care experienceJO-1309-8020Full time employed NURSE PRAC or PHYSICIAN AST with ER or URGENT CARE experience to join m/s group in Tulsa, OK area! My client/group has 15 physicians, mostly Cardiologists and Internists, plus two mid-level (Pas) who work Monday-Friday. They are hiring another traditional IM to augment that of the current staff. Hospitalists from the group cover most of the inpatient needs but the Ims cover when they need help for the group's patients. The group works collegially and covers each other for vacations, etc. Successful candidate will be BE/BC, with both inpatient and outpatient experience preferred. They will be offered a very competitive Base Salary plus incentives which can make them more annually. Location is a city of 35,000 in a service area of 50,000, located less than an hour from the Tulsa metro area (400,000). As such, our area functions as a bedroom community to the Tulsa area. The city is in a lovely river valley and has a low sea-level elevation compared to much of the rest of the state, so our climate is considerably warmer than other parts of the state. The population here is one of the most diverse in the state, and we have a variety of arts and culture here, including several museums, an annual flower festival, and a well known holiday festival which brings visitors from all over the USA. We also have hosted the filming of multiple feature films in the area.
