Healthcare Power County Hospital is hiring for Patient Account Representative/ Rotating Business Clerk.

Description:

Collect and monitor self-pay accounts (including pre-collection and payment arrangements accounts) and assist the business office personnel in delivering services in a timely, accurate and pleasant manner. Responsible for accounts receivable collection and follow up activities. Rotate in various functions as needed in the Business Office, including but not limited to assisting with Admissions duties, data entry, billing, assisting with other clerical functions. This position will assist the Patient Accounting Supervisor on ad hoc projects and assist in the Patient Account departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must speak English; Spanish speaking is desirable but not required.
• Prior office experience, including bookkeeping is desirable.
• Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office products and internet applications is desired.
