Clinical Nurse Manager

Preferred Gold is looking for a qualified Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner, with strong leadership and customer service skills, to work full-time in a Director/Manager position overseeing Private Duty Nursing and non-skilled patient care. It is a field/office position, supervising the RNs & LPNs providing PDN and basic non-skilled care in patients' homes. Key responsibilities include:

Supervision of RN/LPN field staff

Coordination of on-call services for PDN cases

Evaluation of cases with acceptance/rejection

Coordination of staffing new cases

Conducting in-service/orientation for new hires

Rehabilitation according to the patient’s plan of care

Monitoring changes patient’s in medical status

Job Requirements:

Access to a vehicle 

Excellent clinical skills including:

Wound care

Hospice care

Tracheotomy care

Ventilator care

G-tube feedings

Medication administration

• Current and valid NYS RN licensure

• 3+ years of verifiable experience working as a Private Duty Nurse
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Conscientiousness with timely paperwork submission
• Experience working as a Director/Manager of Private Duty Nurse is preferred
