WORKSHOP/RELIEF DRIVER VACANCY
QIK GROUP LIMITED

Full time Maintenance Operative required at our Charing, Kent depot to assist in the preparation of portable accommodation units, portable mains & non-mains toilets and, as a relief driver.

The ideal applicant will live locally and have experience of general carpentry, electrical and plumbing knowledge and painting/decorating skills.

Responsibilities to include
• General maintenance tasks to steel accommodation units
• Cleaning of units internally and externally
• Painting exterior of units; with spray equipment, roller and brush
• Fitting and removal of partitions and others fittings
• Some electrical, plumbing, joinery and flooring activities
• Occasional duties as a fork lift operator (where relevant with training and suitable qualifications).
• You will, from time to time, be required to drive a Service Lorry in a relief driver capacity.

You should be willing to work to instructions either in the workshop or outdoors as part of a team and have a sound knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting skills.

In addition you should have a full clean UK Driving Licence (if relevant), a current CSCS Card and CPC card would be useful but not essential. Training can be given to the successful applicant.

Salary: By arrangement and according to age and experience + Daily Driver’s Attendance Bonus
Hours: Full Time: 7.45 am - 5.00 pm Mondays – Fridays
