Soil Science Field Trials Analyst (Agriculture & Horticulture)

£18'000 - £24'000 + Training + Progression + Healthcare + Pension + Holiday
Excellent opportunity agricultural or horticultural graduate to join an industry leading company that is offering a role with plenty of on the job training, progression and the chance to work alongside some of the biggest food companies in the world.
This company specialises in the food industry providing scientific, technical and advisory support to many of the biggest blue chip manufacturers and researchers in the country. Due to continued growth they are now in a position to add a field trials assistant to their agricultural research team.
In this role you will be required to plan, resource and execute a range of applied trials relating to primary production. This will involve management of work through internal facilities, as well as coordinating workflow with external contractors and collaborators.
The ideal candidate will be an agriculture / science / horticulture graduate with experience working in a farming or test and trials field.

The Role:
*Manage and undertake project work in the growing and maintenance of crops & soil, ensuring safe working practices and to a high standard
*Maintain facilities to a high standard
*Liaise with contractors to provide trial sites and manage the maintenance of any crops required
*Deal with customer and industry contacts
The Person:
*Graduate / HND in Agriculture / Plant Science / Biology or similar
*Any experience of soil science highly beneficial
*Ability to prepare technical reports and deliver presentations
*Experience driving a tractor beneficial
