£40,000 - £42,000 + Training + Progression + Tools + Travel Costs + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension

Are you a service engineer with mechanical and electrical skills from a marine or heavy industrial environment?

Do you want to work for a global industry leader, where you will be trained on a variety of equipment and get to work on diverse equipment in a range of locations worldwide?

The company are an internationally recognised authority in their market. A wholly owned subsidiary of one of the largest engineering groups in the world, they are consistently developing and expanding their product base and expanding their services. Now due to this they require a Worldwide Service Engineer to join the team.

In this role you will be travelling internationally for an average of 4-5 days to fault find and rectify equipment on a variety of shipping and offshore vessels. You will also be involved in a small amount of commissioning work.

As such you will need good electrical skills such as single and 3 phase electrics, ideally with knowledge of controls systems and PLC's coupled with good mechanical skills. You will come from a marine or heavy plant or industrial background.

The Role:

*Worldwide travel (average 2 weeks at a time)

*Electrical and mechanical work

*Working on a variety of equipment

*Full Training on products and systems

*Must be commutable to Poole

The Person:

*Electrical and Mechanical skills

*From a Marine or heavy plant/industrial background

*Ideally have knowledge of control systems and PLC's

*Ideally have worked with 24v, 100v and 440v electrics
