HVACR Mechanic

Rollins College is seeking an experienced HVACR technician to provide comprehensive support for campus buildings. Key responsibilities involve troubleshooting of all related HVACR equipment, as well as installation/maintenance/repair of control systems, boilers and cooling towers, motors and contactors, timers, duct work and refrigeration systems (ice machines, refrigerator/freezers, drinking fountains and ice cream machines).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 2+ years of business, technical or college training, or equivalent combination of education/experience
• 4-6 years of job-related experience
• Knowledge of HVACR equipment installation and maintenance, as well as tools needed for major and minor repairs; heavy chiller experience strongly preferred

• Ability to diagnose defects of motors and equipment
• Valid DL and acceptable motor vehicle record
