Job Summary:
The primary function of this role is to prospect for new clients by cold calling and internet prospecting as well as following up in Sales Force on previous leads. The individual must plan a persuasive approach that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
This job requires a high energy level with a focus towards marketing our company to potential customers with prospecting, communication and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Build relationships with potential new clients through phone calls, emails and site visits as needed.
- Participate in preparation of RFI’s and quotes as requested.
- Attend industry functions such as association events, trade shows and conferences.
- Keep all information in Salesforce and submit weekly progress reports.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing or inside sales experience required
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
- Working knowledge of NFPA 10, 25, and 72 preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player
- Must be a self-starter
- Has a results-driven focus
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of industry standard practices for service and inspections preferred
- Significant experience with Microsoft Office Software (Particularly Excel, Word and Power Point)
