Accounts Receivable Clerk (Commercial Construction)

Location: Woodland Hills, CA

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable clerk who excels in a fast-paced environment to join our team! You will be part of a team that handles critical billing documents and transactions for commercial construction projects with clients such as: NBC Universal, LinkedIn, Boston Consulting Group, Access Hollywood, Netflix, Omnicom, E Entertainment, Kite Pharma (to name a few).

Responsibilities

• Prepare all AIA billing documents, including releases, according to the client's request
• Communicate with the client regarding billing documents and payments Daily bank deposits, posting cash applications and bank reconciliations
• Run weekly, monthly, quarter and yearly reports, as required
• Prepare control documents for use in reconciling job costs, payable and receivable transactions
• Participate in the job close-out/review process by printing reports and confirming accuracy
• Assist other areas of accounting, as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Accounts Receivable clerk
• A strong understanding of construction accounting procedures
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and meet all deadlines
• Must be able to prioritize and manage workflow with accuracy and speed
• Data entry and clerical skills
