Job Description

Spectra Audio Design Group is a full service technology integration and automation company in business since 1973. We are ranked among the Top 50 AV companies in the United States.

We provide commercial and residential audio, video, telephone, data, lighting, shade control, audio and video conferencing, low voltage distribution and environmental control systems.

Our office in Chelsea is a center for project design and build of low voltage control systems. We provide AutoCAD drawings to architects, designers and contractors for all facets of the integration of our systems into a project.

We have openings for a full time AV System Designer to join our CAD engineering department. This is an opportunity to contribute to all facets of our company including audiovisual design and engineering.

Applicants should possess the following skills:

REQUIRED:
- AutoCAD and Revit
- Audio Video / Low Voltage experience
- Microsoft Excel & Word
- Crestron system design experience

A PLUS:
- Strong A/V background
- A/V video conferencing
- Electrical Engineering degree

- Crestron/Lutron-Controlled lighting experience
- Distributed video Experience
- Pro Audio
- Pro/broadcast video

ALSO NECESSARY:
- Superior interpersonal skills for communication with colleagues & clients
- Excellent documentation
- Organized and neat work
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
