St. Lucie Public Schools, Port St. Lucie, Florida is seeking a dynamic professional to work collaboratively with district leaders and provide overall leadership in the development of strategic district planning initiatives.  The Director of Strategic Planning and Research is responsible for providing solutions to positively impact the district through structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives and assists in developing a compelling strategic vision that matches district objectives.  The position reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent.  St. Lucie County is located on the beautiful east coast of Florida about 50 miles north of Palm Beach.  Our mission is to ensure that all students graduate from safe and caring schools equipped with knowledge, skills and the desire to succeed. We serve 40,000 students in 42 school sites with the talent of 5,000 employees.

Minimum Requirements:  Master’s Degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or related field; successful experience in management and organizational development; outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities; demonstrated ability to supervise personnel; strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications appropriate to the position’s responsibilities.
