Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a Physiatrist to join a well-established, private practice in Tucson, AZ due to a large community need. The practice is comprised of 3 physicians and an office support staff that oversees billing, scheduling, and also assists with credentialing.
Office hours are Monday-Friday, regular business hours with alternating weekends. The amount of inpatient and outpatient work will depend on the candidate’s preferences; however, a large portion of the practice’s work focuses on inpatient care.
Candidates must be BE/BC with an active Arizona license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Tucson is a city of 1 million people that is often described as having a smaller town feel. Surrounded on all sides by mountain ranges, Tucson is renowned for its natural beauty and sunsets. Located in the high Sonoran desert, it offers great outdoor recreation (hiking, biking, golf, etc.) and is only a 45-minute drive to alpine forests and 4 hours to beaches in Mexico or skiing in Northern Arizona. Other highlights include more than 350 days of sunshine, affordable housing, low property and gas taxes, and growing communities.
Tucson is home to Davis Monthan Air Force base, the University of Arizona, and Fortune 500 companies including Raytheon Missile Systems, Caterpillar and Roche/Ventana Medical Systems.
