Licensed Kindergarten Teacher

Ohio Department of Education charter kindergarten program is looking for a motivated self-starter as our full-time licensed kindergarten teacher.

Premier charter school in Westerville seeks State of Ohio certified and licensed Kindergarten teacher with a working knowledge of Project Based Learning and Workshop Writing and Reading as approaches to best practices in instruction. The hired candidate will carry out all responsibilities necessary to teach within our full-day Kindergarten program, including but not limited to: developing lesson plans, instructing, creating flexible groups based on attendance cycles, classroom/behavior management, and the implementation of Quality Assurance Health and Safety guidelines

Our ideal Kindergarten teacher is a highly-qualified childhood educator who is able to use creativity and Developmental Guidelines as the basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way. Our candidate also has strong leadership skills, is an excellent communicator, and can motivate and inspire children in a positive manner.

*Education/Experience*:

• BA or MA in Education / Early Childhood Education
• State of Ohio Teaching Certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement(s).
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
