Executive Director

The Minnesota Association Townships

The Minnesota Association of Townships (MAT) is searching for a new Executive Director. The essential qualifications for the job are:

• Five (5) years experience in senior management with a nonprofit or government association
• A four-year degree in public administration or business management
• Excellent computer skills.
• Able to travel.
• Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach, manage, and develop staff and set and achieve strategic objectives.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with media and public relations experience.
• Extensive experience in budget, financial and budget management expertise as well as financial investment experience.
• A strong working knowledge of township government.
• Extensive knowledge of lobbying efforts at the state and federal level.
• Demonstrated tremendous "people skills."
• Show passion, idealism, integrity,
• positive attitude, be mission-driven, and self-directed.

Salary range: $95,000 to $110,000.
