The Ohio State University College of Medicine is seeking full-time, experienced, board-certified /eligible Internal Medicine/Pediatric trained physicians as we expand our team again! We are expanding one of our clinics and now are adding 2 additional Med/Peds faculty!

The Division of General Internal Medicine is recognized for providing personalized comprehensive patient care, innovative educational opportunities for students and residents and a developing research environment. Our practices have been recognized by the NCQA and have re-certified in 2013 as a level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). The integration of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) has not only provided our physicians with a direct pathway to review current and historical care provided by our colleagues in other specialty services it has brought the possibility for our patients to fully engage in their healthcare through electronic communication. Through our collaborations with the Department of Pharmacy, Department of Psychiatry and The Ohio State University College of Nursing we can proudly provide a progressive compliment to the care and education we provide our patients and trainees.

Physicians will have privileges at The Ohio State residents and students. Former scholarly experience is desired. These positions are primarily outpatient University Wexner Medical Center, University Hospital East, The James Cancer Center and Solove Research Institute, Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital as well as an opportunity to apply for privileges at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. All faculty will be appointed in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine at the assistant or associate professor level. All academic appointments are commensurate with experience. Interested candidates will be expected to demonstrate outstanding clinical care concurrent with teaching and will have opportunities for inpatient time in our newborn nursery if interested. Opportunities exist for career development in leadership and administration, educational scholarship.
