General Psychiatry Job - Out-Pt. - Northwest AR!  #2051

We are recruiting for an additional BE/BC Psychiatrist to work with a not-for-profit mental health program which has been in operation for more than 40 years.  It has a solid track record of excellent service and has seen little turnover among its some 450 employees.

This position is for a General Psychiatrist who is comfortable in occasionally seeing some children.  There is no call at present. You will see between 12-18 pts. Per day all largely dependent on the number of new consults. Adult medication checks average 20 minutes and initial evaluations are averaging for adults one hour.  The Psychiatrists here do work with Advanced Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and the Medical Director serves as the supervisor for the NP’s.

This is a salaried position and offers an excellent base and benefits plus there is an option of medical student debt repayment because they are within an approved area for the federal program.
