The purpose of this role is to edit, commission and produce content for a brand new, soon to-be-launched B2B editorial site TokenArcade.com - the source for everything at the intersection of Crypto and Gaming. Your goal is to ensure the content is clear, concise and relevant. You will help maintain and grow the site's traffic and community. You'll be responsible for its status in the tech and games industry, as well as for working closely with the rest of the team to pass on featuring, partnership, and ad opportunities.

This is a full-time role where you’d be required to work remotely with other team members to devise and implement the content strategy for the TokenArcade.com site and newsletter. This is a fascinating time to be joining as this person will help shape the activities of the company in how we cover blockchain going forward. You will work remotely, usually from your own home, and therefore a San Francisco location is not essential.

Content Creation

To begin with, you will be responsible for the majority of the site's expert content, but progressively this may evolve into running an editorial budget of freelancers/staff as agreed with your manager. Content will need to be planned and created to hit daily targets. You will write a proportion of it yourself. There will also be content incoming from staff writer(s) and columnists/editor-at-large freelancers, which you will be expected to plan, direct, manage, edit and promote.

Networking, and Interviewing Guests

You will help organize and drive interviews with key influencers and minds in the industry, both in Gaming and in Crypto. We will help introduce you to some key people in the space to help you get started!

Strategic planning

You will conceive and implement content strategies and developments for TokenArcade.com that can help increase audience, engagement with the industry and support commercial goals.

The role could naturally evolve with market trends and any changes in the company, but the initial focus would be:

• To write, plan, commission, and edit content for TokenArcade.com, to a level defined by your line manager
• To manage freelance input within a fixed budget.
• To consider reader feedback, internal data, and insight from Google Analytics and elsewhere in order to devise the editorial strategy.
• To identify potential technical and editorial improvements to TokenArcade.com
• To promote and represent the site to a high professional standard in all communications.
• To stay abreast of developments in the blockchain gaming sector, and respond strategically with content ideas for TokenArcade.com
• To attend events, which may be overseas, and engage with the developer and reader communities in person, as agreed with your manager.
• To envisage and participate in initiatives such as podcasts, newsletters, videos and other activities as opportunities arise.
• To identify, manage and create social media opportunities to grow and engage the reader community.

This role requires an outgoing, high energy, self-motivated personality, someone who enjoys meeting new people and getting under the skin of the industry. It's an ideal role for someone looking to further their career in the games and tech industries and who fundamentally understands the differences between the key players across all sides of the industry – from publishers/developers, crypto funds, platforms, and tokens, middle-ware, mobile technologies and so on.

• Due to working remotely, you will need to be comfortable being out of an office setting (it doesn't suit everyone) and be able to communicate and report into your manager via Skype, Slack, and online tools regularly.

When it launches this summer, TokenArcade.com will be the source for everything at the intersection of Crypto and Gaming
