Belmont Pines Hospital in Youngstown is recruiting Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.

Nurse Practitioners have the option of working in traditional Outpatient Services, Day Treatment (PHP) Program, OR Residential and Inpatient Programs depending on clinical preferences and experience. The patient populations in all programs are children and adolescents.

General duties will include initial psychiatric evaluation of patients and subsequent follow up visits for treatment progress check; medication evaluation and management; and treatment team participation. There is some back up call but this is very limited.

Nurse Practitioners at Belmont Pines make independent and collaborative judgments in regards to the assessment, diagnosis and management of treatment for patients with psychiatric disorders, medical-mental conditions and substance abuse issues. The clinical services setting is a multidisciplinary treatment setting supported by a strong administrative and clinical support staff and Psychiatrists. There is opportunity for family communication and education activities.

The Nurse Practitioner position will have a very competitive compensation package of base salary; insurances (health package and malpractice); Paid Time Off; CME days and financial support; bonus plan; and more. There is some flexibility in schedule with days and hours worked.
