Assistant Professor (Clinical-Track) at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City (multiple positions available): Requires MD or DO degree or equivalent; eligibility for Utah medical license; ABPN Board certification or eligibility in both Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology; 12 month Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship training, including intra-operative monitoring (IOM); and at least two peer-reviewed publications, including at least one which demonstrates research interest in Neurology. The Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology will provide medical care to patients at the University's Clinical Neuroscience Center and University Hospital; including conducting IOM in the operating room as well as outpatient and inpatient care for epilepsy patients; participating in epilepsy surgery evaluations; conducting and interpreting neurological studies such as electroencephalography (EEG); engage in classroom teaching of medical students, residents and fellows related to Epilepsy, IOM, and EEG; and perform administrative duties.
