Ute Water is the largest domestic water provider on the Western Slope of Colorado. The District is recruiting for a Finance Specialist. The position is responsible for providing back-up to the Finance Director, Customer Service Supervisor and the Assistant General Manager. The successful candidate will learn the functions of the District and these 3 positions. Position requires a B.S. in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years work experience in tax, audit, governmental accounting or a related area. A CPA and/or master's degree is preferred as well as experience supervising staff. The salary range for this exempt position is $30.04/hour-$40.81/hour. paired with an excellent benefits package. Position requires a clean driving record, valid CO Driver's License, and the ability to pass drug screen, background check and physical.
