Production Coordinator

Prepared is a fast, growing startup in the essentials business and looking to add to our team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage the relationship between the manufacturers and trading companies in foreign countries

· Collate all product data, including technical reports packaging details

· Ensure manufacturer compliance with US import and country of origin export requirements

· Communicate and provide product details along with delivery timelines to the sales team

· Ensure manufacturer complies with all agreed upon delivery dates

· Raise purchase orders on Netsuite

· Follow order from booking up until delivery into US warehouse

· Follow orders raised from US customers to Uniti Prepared

· Work together with the logistics manager in order to ensure order is delivered to US customer

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of 2 years shipping/logistics experience

· Experience dealing directly with International suppliers

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge of commercial shipping methods and procedures, including an understanding of the spot freight market rates for airfreight as well as involvement with Air Charter agreements.

· Computer literate and good working knowledge of MS Office applications
